Statcounter is a free/paid analytics tool for webmasters. It is probably, after Google Analytics, the most popularly added site stats package around.
The stats are easy to follow, give very detailed information about what your visitors have been doing and what they are interested in on your site.
I have been using Statcounter for years, I find it more consistent than the stats packages with my hosting, my main concern was that the figures should agree with the numbers from my Adsense monitoring and in that regard Statcounter is the best, easy to use analytics available.
Unlike the stats packages that come with your hosting you need to install Statcounter onto your site and, more than that, you need to make sure that every page is being counted.
