Goal Setting and Your Emotional State

You have to know that you are visualizing all the time. You may not be aware of it, but you are constantly conjuring up images in your head. Even in your daily life, you are unconsciously doing this. When a friend shares an experience, you create mental pictures to make yourself feel as if you were there with them during that time. You also visualize when you are deep in thought or when you are thinking about the things that have happened to you. The hard part comes when you have to use that creative force to actually attract your desires.

Whenever you are deep in thought, you channel your energies to the innermost recesses of your emotions. During these simple everyday occurrences, you were able to visualize clearly because you felt as if it were real. When you have strong emotions towards something, such as anxiety, fear, and pain, you lock yourself away in your inner mind trapped with those sad images. As with visualization, you have to immerse yourself with full emotions. Many thoughts may come to distract but you have to train your mind to hold those other thoughts. Emotions play a big role because these fuel you to conjure up those images and make it as vivid as you can.
The Law of Attraction states that the thing you think about the most is the thing you will also attract. So if you want to know that relationship between the law of attraction and visualization…well, both go hand-in-hand. If you don’t have a clear image of what you want, you will not be able to reach your goal. When you create a visual image in your head, your emotional vibration will attract the desired item towards you. The picture will boost your emotion, thus, harnessing your power towards your dreams. You will be able to exponentially increase the probability of your dreams coming true when you feel passion towards it.

The same goes when you constantly steer your mind towards the negative. Fortunately, negative emotions and feelings seem to be harder to attract. Basically, a little positive thinking goes a long way. All you need is to clearly see the thing you want to attract and feel the emotion of having attracted that thing. The rest is up to the universe. When you habitually practice visualization, things will have a way of working out.

The power is in the emotion and clear visualization gives your emotions more power. Visualization serves as the trigger for the emotional gun. The clearer you can see your desire, the stronger your feelings. And the stronger your feelings, the sooner you will achieve your dreams. Therefore, if you want the law of attraction to work, you need to visualize the outcome. And the clearer the picture and the more emotionally involved you are, the sooner your goal will be realized.

Just an added piece of advice: you can increase the color and brightness when you visualize the desired scene. If a bad picture enters your mind, change the scene to make it black and white. This helps decrease the negative emotions you feel towards it.
