Enhancing Your Success
It occurred to me that so far I have not touched upon any of the tools that we use at Marketers College to help in the marketing of the business.
Most of the tools we use are automated, to some degree or another, and are effective, using tried and true methods that will work for a long time to come. I have tried many software tools and promotion systems over the years and, frankly, most of what we are sold is rubbish. It was not my intention to make this site a heavy ’selly’ site but it seems sensible to share tools that I use and know work.
The first tool that I want to share is called ‘RSSBot‘ and, like many other tools we use here, it is supplied from Incansoft. RSSBot does a simple job well, it takes the RSS feeds from your website(s) and posts them to 30 odd RSS Directories. We use this tool for two reasons, firstly RSS feeds are great for getting new sites and pages indexed by search engines and also they are a great source of backlinks, particularly if the RSS feed and its content are picked up on other websites.
In addition RSSBot can create an RSS feed from sites that do not normally have them, so there is no reason to not use this site promotion method. Lastly, the tool can be used to ‘ping’ many RSS directories and aggregators, again automatically.
I can not recommend the strategy of syndicating your RSS feeds highly enough and RSSBot is a very good value way of doing this job well. Please check out our RSS feed submission tool now.
